After a productive stretch of snowmaking, Bretton Woods has announced it will open for the day on Sunday, offering a free lift ticket to those donating a non perishable food item.

The Range View trail will be served by the Zephyr Express Quad, offering nearly 500 more vertical feet of terrain than currently available at Killington. Bretton Woods opened on November 18 last season.

With cold temperatures at the start of the weekend, ski areas in four states made snow, ranging from Jiminy Peak to Sugarloaf. At present, Killington is the only New England ski area scheduled to operate on Monday, which will be its 21st day of the season.
