Significant investments from Killington's independent ownership are expected to continue over the next 10 to 15 years, according to a recent blog post from the group.

Since acquiring Killington and Pico in 2024, Killington Independence Group has reportedly installed over 1,000 new snow guns, a high speed six pack, and is currently constructing a fixed grip quad on Snowdon.

Next year, the group will be installing a Doppelmayr fixed grip quad to replace the Outpost Double at Pico, while also overhauling the K1 Gondola.

Future lift projects include replacing the Snowshed chairlifts and the Ram's Head Quad.

Lodge projects include replacements for the Bear Mountain Lodge and Snowshed Lodge. Meanwhile, the Jerk Jamaican facility is expected to be replaced with a new Needle's Eye Lodge in 2028.
