Ski Season Arrives
Killington has opened whilst multiple other ski areas continue to make snow.

Season passholders loaded the lifts at lunchtime today, as Killington celebrated its fifth October opening the past six years.

Killington plans to open three trails to the general public tomorrow while snowmaking continues in the North Ridge and Superstar areas.

Meanwhile, Sunday River is making snow on its Barker and Aurora areas with no opening date set. Wildcat and Bretton Woods have snowguns running as well, with no opening dates yet set. Stowe is making snow on its upper mountain trails, but is sticking to a mid November opening date.
