The first weekend of lift served skiing of the season in New England is set to start on November 8, 2014, with three areas expected to be in operation.

Sunday River is set to resume operations on Saturday, after opening for one day on Monday, November 3. Top to bottom skiing may debut on Sunday.

Killington has been in daily operation since Monday, November 3. Okemo and Jay Peak could be open by next weekend.

Sugarloaf is expecting to debut on Saturday or Sunday, depending upon how its snowmaking efforts go.

Wildcat may be the first in New Hampshire to open, reportedly needing 24 to 36 more hours of snowmaking to get Lynx open top to bottom. Bretton Woods may also be on the verge of opening. Loon projects to open next Friday.
