Killington Snowmaking

Lifts could be spinning for skiers very soon, as Killington has fired up its snowguns today.

Snowmaking is in progress in the North Ridge complex, as well as Superstar. North Ridge will be the first area to open to the public, as the Superstar snowmaking is in preparation for the November World Cup races.

Killington has operated in 5 of the past 7 Octobers. The earliest Killington opening day this century was October 13, 2012.
