Loon, Mount Snow Name New General Managers
The current general managers have been promoted to corporate roles.

Loon Mountain and Mount Snow will have new general managers next month, according to recent resort announcements.

Brian Norton


Brian Norton, current Vice President of Operations, will become Loon's president and general manager on April 1. Norton first started at Loon as a lift attendant two decades ago while attending Plymouth State College. Jay Scambio, Loon's general manager since 2017, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer – Day Areas for Boyne Resorts.

Brian Suhadolc, current Vice President of Mountain Operations at Vail Mountain, will become Mount Snow's general manager on April 1. A native of New Jersey, Suhadolc worked in snowmaking and operations at Park City prior to relocating to Colorado in 2020. Tracy Bartels, Mount Snow's general manager since 2020, has been promoted to Vice President of Maintenance, Planning, and Projects for Vail Resorts.

Both ski areas have lift installation projects slated for this spring.
