Nine of the twelve trails in the complex are now open, providing new novice and intermediate options at the resort. The terrain is served by a refurbished Doppelmayr high speed quad, originally installed as the Swift Current lift at Big Sky, Montana. The 775 horsepower lift climbs 1,433 vertical feet over a run of 6,574 feet.

The complex was originally projected to debut in late January or early February.

With the Bucksaw debut, the Merrill Hill Triple at Sunday River and the Black Line Quad at Magic Mountain are the only 2023-24 lift installations that have not been opened to the public. The Merrill Hill Triple is not expected to debut until trail construction is completed at a future date. The Black Line Quad is scheduled to debut tomorrow.
