Titcomb Mountain will have a brand new Doppelmayr T-Bar for the 2025-26 season, the area announced on its Facebook page today.
According to the post, $1.6 million has been raised for the replacement of the #2 T-Bar. The outgoing lift was reportedly installed at Cannon Mountain in 1953 before being relocated to Titcomb in 1973. The lift reportedly failed inspection recently, leading to its closure.
The non-profit that operates the ski area is also planning to install three-phase power to reduce reliance on diesel. Other fundraising goals include replacing the #1 T-Bar, improving snowmaking and lighting, and expanding the lodge.
Located in Farmington, Maine, the area likely dates back to the 1941-42 season and sports a 340 foot vertical drop.
