The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association has announced it is proposing an Audi FIS Ski World Cup at Killington in 2016.

According to an October 1 press release, the Thanksgiving weekend event would include women's giant slalom and slalom races on the Superstar trail. FIS Women's World Cup Tour Director Atle Skaardal conducted a site inspection on September 23.

A final decision could be made in June.
