Attitash to Open Longest Zipline in Contiguous United States
New zip lines on Bear Peak and Attitash are expected to open on September 13.

After months of construction, a new zip line installation is expected to open at Attitash Mountain Resort on Saturday, September 13.

The Flying Bear zip line is reportedly the longest in the 48 states at 4,969 feet. After descending from the top of Bear Peak to an area near the double-double chairlifts at Attitash, customers will then zip down the 2,196 foot long Attitash line to the Learning Center side of the Attitash base area.

Peak Resorts also operates a 2,100 foot long zip line at nearby Wildcat Mountain.
