Snow has been made on the Trillium to Eclipse run from the top of the Eclipse triple chairlift, as well as the That Way slope off the Platter Pull. The ski area will reportedly open on Saturday, December 23.

Steven Kelly's Northcountry Development Group acquired the shuttered resort in April 2022, opening in February 2023 for the first time since the COVID-19 shutdown. Kelly recently received Plymouth Planning Board approval for a $30 million base lodge upgrade slated to begin in the spring of 2024.

Dan Egan was named General Manager during the off-season, a position that he previously held in the early 2000s. Noted for his extreme skiing feats in Warren Miller movies, Egan was inducted into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2016. Former Tenney Mountain employees Dave Lorrey and Jeff Day returned in operational management roles. Michael Bouchard is reportedly no longer part of the management team.

2023 off-season projects have included painting each of the three lifts (including painting the galvanized Hornet double chairs blue), replacing chair slats, installing RFID gates, renovating the maintenance building, and patching Davis Road (Tenney Mountain Road remains closed after storm damage in a prior decade). Kelly recently told the Plymouth Record Enterprise, "We plan on making Tenney Mountain a local mountain, but eventually a destination location," adding, "When we open this year, we'll be in the best shape Tenney has been in 30 years because of the investment in infrastructure and equipment."
