A Sugarloaf employee died due to injuries sustained in an accident today, according to multiple sources.

Alexander Witt, 24, was helping to prepare the Skidder trail for an upcoming mogul competition when he reportedly lost his footing and fell down the slope this morning. Efforts to revive him at the First Aid Clinic were unsuccessful.

Witt reportedly worked at Sugarloaf for half a decade. Sugarloaf has cancelled the Sunday mogul competition.

Two other workers have died at ski areas earlier this season, at Nashoba Valley and Killington.
